My Story

 Dear Readers,

So this is my first post and I just wanted to explain who I am and why I created this blog. Basically, I am ten years old and just published my own book, as you may have guessed this blog is to promote that book and raise awareness that age doesn’t matter and that you shouldn’t wait until you are older, achieve what you want at any age. 

I understand that people may think that you have to have qualifications and study for years to do something like write a book, this is not true! Anyone with passion for writing can write a book and publish it. Same goes with anything. I get where people come from with saying that you should be qualified in order to publish but although yes, you may produce more advanced writing, some young writers can write just as difficult books if the work is put in.

Over all, age is over concentrated and what you should focus on in your writing journey (or really anything at all journey!) is your will and passion, all you need is to be willing to do something and put in the work to achieve it, and have the passion. I cannot stress enough how important passion is to achieving anything in life whether that is becoming a football legend and winning the World Cup or merely running round the back garden with a pet. Each need the same amount of both will and passion to become achievable.

The book that I wrote and published, Poppy Valley: Magic Of The Enchanted Iron Mines, was a massive personal goal for myself and I cannot stress enough how much I worked for this and worked for this, and how much it is worth it! Basically, what I am trying to translate through this writing is that don’t listen to the people that shoot you down and tell you that you can’t do it because if you truly, truly want something then you can do it.
